At Matr Boomie our mission is to create a world that is playful, compassionate and kind. We take our work to make a difference in the world seriously and we have fun doing it! Not only do we focus on our origin story of supporting economic and social development of the artisans and communities we work with in India, we also want to extend our reach locally.

A company-wide initiative is to host monthly “Lunch & Learns” at our headquarters in Austin to learn about one another as team members, learn about topics that are nourishing to our mind and body, that widen our perspective and also to learn about organizations creating lasting positive impact in our local community. SAFE Alliance was one of the organizations that presented to us during one of these events. On May 4, 2022 Our local team based in Austin, TX got together to give back to our community by volunteering at SAFE Alliance Austin.
Safe’s mission is to stop abuse for everyone. We worked alongside volunteers from other businesses and organizations in the area to refresh a community shelter playground. We were proud of our collaboration to bring joy to at-risk families. We cleaned up the playground area, transported and relaid a new foundation of mulch around the play area. The hard work and dedication paid off as can be evidenced in the before and after pictures.
