Chindi

The origins of chindi weaving come from a humble place. Historically, women began upcycling old cotton clothing, creating useful items for their homes to save money and resources. Cotton scraps and sustainable jute fibers are woven together and sewn to create everything from rugs and baskets, to trivets. These materials get to live a second life as beautiful, colorful home additions.

Chindi Artisans

We partner with a small group of 12 women artisans located in the state of Rajasthan in Northwest India. They live in a rural area in a small village that is well connected to markets, allowing them to easily transport products. Through their craft, they are now gaining independence and participating in training aimed at enhancing their skills.

Shipping & Returns

We charge a flat-rate of $5 to ship any order. And if you spend more than $50, shipping is free! Once your order is received, we'll ship it within 2-3 business days. To return a purchase, visit our returns page (link in footer below) to request a return within 30 days of your purchase. We will provide a prepaid mailing label for item return. Once we receive and process your return, we will deduct the cost of the prepaid label from your refund and return the remaining amount of your original merchandise cost back to the purchase credit card. Original shipping charges will not be refunded.
