Beautiful but.. not well made

I was so excited for these earring s when I bought them from one of mature bookies stockists. Sadly after the first wear the string began to unravel. It took about three wears of normal use (just at work) from them to unravel completely. I then wore them as plain gold hoops a few times (still beautiful) but sadly the back were so loose that the both fell off and now I can’t wear them at all.
